The Brother Laurie Hopgood Library is a modern and comfortable space which provides students with quiet study areas and collaborative learning spaces. Printed and electronic resources are on hand, along with audio/visual equipment, and staff are always available to assist students in producing the highest quality work.
The Gear Box, situated within this space is the centre for the students laptop program, repairs, assistance and computing advice.
St Mary’s College Brother Laurie Hopgood Library values learning as a lifelong experience by:
Ø  Promoting resource-based inquiry learning;
Ø  Promoting literacy through reading, viewing and listening for enjoyment;
Ø  Supporting the curriculum through centralised services and specialised support;
Ø  Providing access to information from a wide range of mediums;
Ø  Managing the college's information services.

Some of the other key features of the Library include:
Ø  Opening hours (8.00 am – 4.00 pm Monday to Friday); Term time only
Ø  Specialised homework and research help (3.00 – 4.00 pm Tuesday and Thursday);
Ø  Online databases and research guides available for research;
Ø  Wireless network with one to one student/laptop program;
Ø  Excellent ICT, audio-visual and photocopying/printing facilities.
