Enrolment offers are made as close to the interview completion as possible. At times, the number of applications we receive maybe be greater than the places available. If this happens, your application may be placed on our waitlist and we will keep you informed should a place become available. 

While St Mary's College is a Catholic school, we are open to all families seeking a faith-based education in a welcoming and inclusive community. We celebrate the diversity of the families we serve and invite everyone to participate in and support the Catholic traditions, beliefs and values that guide our schools and enrich the educational experience of every student. Children who are baptised Catholic are given priority of enrolment at Brisbane Catholic Education schools.

Scholarships will be awarded based on merit as determined by an application and interview. Scholarships will be awarded to students who demonstrate potential for a commitment to a holistic education, in preparation for the values of Service, Courage and Justice at St Mary's College.

Bursaries are awarded on the basis of demonstrable, means-tested inability to afford a Catholic Education. Support from the fund is not dependent on academic ability of the student.

If your child is placed on a waitlist, you will be kept informed throughout the enrolment process. If an availability arises, families will be contacted and offered a place where possible.

We welcome students and families who share in the values and ethos of a Catholic education. Each application we receive is assessed on its merit however where limited availability exists, priority may be given to:

• Students from Catholic families who are baptised or have a demonstrated commitment to the faith within their Parish community
• A sibling of a current or past student of the school
• A current student of another BCE Catholic school, other Catholic schools or Kindergartens managed by Catholic Early EdCare
