Pastoral Care

Pastoral care is our Christian values enacted in everyday life at the College. The support provided to students and staff extends well beyond the classroom and encompasses a breadth of contexts. Each pastoral care group share their entire secondary journey together, enabling students to develop a strong sense of pride and belonging while supporting others. Behaviour support guides student’s growth and learning while they build life skills and resilience. We have a rich tradition of inter-house competition across sporting, cultural and academic pursuits. Each house has a Pastoral Leader who oversees the pastoral care of all students in their House.

Here at St Mary's we have a Behaviour Matrix our students follow which links back to our College Values of Service, Courage and Justice.

Pastoral Care Houses
Our pastoral care classes belong to four houses. These four houses are named after significant settlers in the Maryborough region. Click on the House logos for further information.
